Q. I try to use Dot Impact printer by using Windows driver.
But the printer does paper feed only.

A. Please check if followings are set properly.

Driver
Paper orientation (must be vertical.)
Paper size
Font (must be printer's font)
Font size (need to be set after printer font is selected.)
Margin

Q. The printer driver does not work with MS-Office97. What shall I do?

A. If you are using MS-Office 97, please use compatible mode of older version.
For example, in case of MS-Word 97, click Tools -> Options -> Compatibility and
choose [Microsoft Word6.0/95]

Q. Are CBM printers Year2000 compliant?

A. The Year 2000 Compliance issue does not apply to CBM printers
as they are non time/clock sensitive devices. Our printers do not
keep track of the year in any form and will continue to function normally
after 1999. Any printer drivers or other software we supply are also not
time/date sensitive. Since our products are NOT time/date sensitive,
they should be considered compliant by default.

The successful and continuous operation of our products in compliance
with Year 2000 issues is completely dependent? on the Year 2000
compliance of your computer systems and the software that run them.

Q. Where can I get the driver for CITIZEN PC printer such as PN60, PN48, NPII, GSX-XXX, etc?

A. Please GO to CITIZEN America web page.

Q. Does CBM supply OLE POS (OPOS) driver?

A. Yes. So far we have OPOS driver for CBM231 and IDP-3210.

Q. Can I use CBM printer with Windows?

A. We have printer drivers for windows. Please GO to "DOWNLOAD" section. 

Q. Can I get the driver for windows to support control board?

A. Answer for some of the control boards are "Yes".
Please GO to "DOWNLOAD" section.You can see the driver for CBM-202-40.
CBM-505 / CBM-606 can use the same driver for CBM-710/720/750/iDP-3540/3541.
Other control boards can not be supported to use with windows.

Q. I want to change character font itself. What shall I do?

A. If the printer is IDP-3545/3546, you can design and download your own font by our software. Please GO to the "DOWNLOAD" section.
If you have a ROM writer which have serial or parallel interface and you want to change the font of CBM-231/IDP-3210, please GO to the "DOWNLOAD" section.
